Job summary

JDA WMS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Automation Design Engineer to lead the design of automation solutions for manufacturing clients, delivering technical and commercial proposals, system layouts, and cost estimates.

You will own the full technical process from concept to commissioning and post-sales support, design automated systems and fixtures with CAD software, and handle documentation, testing, and on-site training to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Hands-on design experience with automation systems, robotics, and fixtures.
Strong CAD skills with AutoCAD and SolidWorks; PLC programming knowledge.
Experience with motors, motion control, wiring, and production line integration.

Responsibilities

Design automation solutions and prepare technical/commercial proposals.
Own end-to-end technical process from concept to commissioning and post-sales support.
Design automated systems and fixtures using CAD software.
Prepare and maintain project documentation (drawings, BOMs, service records).
Perform hands-on integration including wiring, control panel checks, and robot programming.
Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to meet performance specifications.
Provide on-site technical support during commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and customer training.
