Job summary

Talent Trader Group Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design mechanical components and automation systems using SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor. You will source materials, create BOMs, and support assembly and troubleshooting on automation projects.

You will coordinate project timelines, procurement, and training materials, while collaborating with the assembly team to resolve design issues and deliver robust solutions for manufacturing environments in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, automation, or automated equipment.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor for 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
• Good knowledge of mechanical components, sizing, and sourcing.
• Senior candidates should have experience leading projects and coordinating execution.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and automation systems using SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor (3D CAD and 2D drafting).
• Source materials, mechanical components and suppliers for design projects.
• Perform assembly and detailed mechanical design for automation equipment.
• Coordinate project timelines, material procurement and delivery schedules.
• Work closely with the assembly team to support troubleshooting and resolve design issues.
• Prepare BOMs, project schedules, user manuals and training materials.
• Conduct user training and provide technical support.
