Job summary

MNC Industrial Automation Company in Woodlands, Singapore, is seeking a skilled engineer to join its automation equipment design team. You will collaborate with project managers and customers to translate design requirements into high-precision solutions.

The role requires 4–6 years of relevant experience, proficiency in SolidWorks 3D and EPDM, and a strong collaborative mindset. Working hours are 8:30am–5:30pm, Monday–Friday, with a competitive variable bonus and welfare package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in automation equipment design.
• Proficient in SolidWorks 3D and EPDM software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Manager and customers to understand design requirements and specifications.
• Analyse project requirements and participate in concept generation.
• Design high-precision automation equipment.
• Select standard components such as sensors, pneumatics, motors, servo axes and robotics.
• Prepare BOM using SAP.
• Coordinate with fabrication houses and component suppliers.
• Report project progress to Project Manager and superior.
• Guide assembly technicians to build and test the equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
