Job summary

EA Recruitment Pte. Ltd. is hiring an Automation Engineer to develop and configure automation applications and HMI/GUI per project requirements.

The role involves system configuration of PLC/SCADA, I/O, field devices, and interfaces, plus developing control programs and narratives. You will conduct FAT, testing, site commissioning and troubleshooting, ensuring successful project handover and deployment. Degree in related engineering required; programming skills in SCADA/PLC and Python are

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Experience in automation, control systems, system integration a plus.
• Programming knowledge in SCADA/PLC and Python is advantageous.

Basic $4000 to $5200 + Variable Bonus + Allowances

Working location: West

Working hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm (Mon - Fri)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and configure automation/control system applications and HMI/GUI according to project requirements.
• Perform system configuration and integration , including PLC/SCADA systems, I/O, field devices and communication interfaces.
• Develop or modify control programs, system databases, HMI/GUI and control logic .
• Prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams, field termination drawings, control narratives and functional descriptions .
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), system testing, site commissioning, troubleshooting and project handover .
• Troubleshoot and resolve system configuration, software and integration issues during project execution.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, engineers and project teams to ensure successful system implementation and commissioning.
• Prepare testing & commissioning documentation and ensure engineering deliverables meet project and company requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline.
• Candidates with relevant experience in automation, control systems, system integration, SCADA/HMI or PLC will have an advantage.
• Programming knowledge in SCADA, PLC programming and/or Python will be advantageous.
• Experience in system configuration, FAT, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting will be advantageous.
