Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on engineer to develop and implement industrial automation and control systems at our West Singapore location. You will work with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, I/O devices and networks to deliver reliable automation solutions across projects.

The role requires 2-3 years in automation or a related field, with Diploma holders considered for senior trainee roles. Strong problem-solving skills, familiarity with programming and commissioning activities are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related field.
• 2-3 years of industrial automation/control system experience; diploma holders with 3-5 years considered.
• Hands-on PLC programming, system integration, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of HMI/GUI/SCADA and industrial protocols is advantageous.
• Knowledge of C++ and/or Python is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and implement industrial automation and control systems (PLC, HMI/SCADA).
• Perform system configuration and integration involving PLCs, I/O, field devices, and networks.
• Develop/modify control programs, HMI/GUI, databases and control logic per project needs.
• Prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams, narratives and docs.
• Conduct FAT, testing, site commissioning, troubleshooting and handover.
• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, instrumentation and comm issues.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and project teams during implementation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure and implementindustrial automation and control systems, including PLC and HMI/SCADA applications.

• Develop/modify control programs, HMI/GUI, system databases and control logic according to project requirements.

• Prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams, control narratives and technical documentation.

• ConductFAT, system testing, site commissioning, troubleshooting and project handover.

• Diagnose and resolve control software, hardware, instrumentation and communication issues.

• Coordinate with customers, vendors and project teams throughout project implementation.
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related Engineeringdiscipline, preferably with 2-3 years of relevant industrial automation/control system experience.Diploma holders with 3-5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.

• Hands-on experience inPLC programming, system integration, I/O systems, control instrumentation, testing, commissioning and troubleshootingis preferred. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and exposure toHMI/GUI/SCADAwill be advantageous.

• Knowledge ofC++ and/or Pythonis an added advantage. Candidates with strong internship, academic or project experience in PLC programming and automation are also welcome to apply.
