Job summary

NANEKEY PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Automation & Control Engineer with PLC programming and system integration experience to design, develop, assemble, test and commission control panels and automation systems for industrial and FMCS applications.

The role covers development of PLC programs, system integration, FAT/testing, site commissioning, and collaboration with clients and vendors to ensure conformance to project specs and standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electrical/electronics/mechatronics required.
• 1–3 years in automation, PLC, or system integration.
• Experience with PLC programming on Siemens, AB, or Schneider.
• Willingness to support FAT, commissioning, and field testing.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/EPLAN an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify PLC programs for multiple PLC brands.
• Perform system integration for control panels (PLC, HMI, SCADA, field devices).
• Prepare control system design documents (IO lists, wiring diagrams).
• Support panel design and layout using AutoCAD or EPLAN.
• Coordinate with internal teams for fabrication and assembly.
• Conduct FAT and prepare test reports.
• Assist in site commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with project specs and standards.
