Job summary

Pathlight School’s Youths for Autism (YFA) Internship Programme invites motivated individuals to support students and clients with autism across Teaching Track, Digital Academy, EIP, and E2C.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in special education and inclusive workplaces, with comprehensive training provided; remuneration is SGD 1,600 per month, location Ang Mo Kio / Tampines, internship ends May/June 2027.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children or youths with special needs.
• Patient, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to commit to full duration of the internship.
• No prior experience required – training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers or job coaches in daily learning activities.
• Assist in managing routines and ensuring a structured environment.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students or clients.
• Help prepare teaching, training, or vocational materials.
• Participate in student care activities, mealtimes, transitions and events.
