Job description

Consultancy Industry

In the world of professional consultancy, auditors are the guardians of financial integrity - the professionals that organisations rely on to identify risk, ensure compliance, and drive accountability at every level. As an Auditor in a respected consultancy firm in Singapore, you will work across a diverse portfolio of clients spanning multiple industries, giving you exceptional breadth of experience that few other roles can match. This is a position that demands analytical precision, professional scepticism, and the ability to communicate complex financial findings clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. If you are ready to build a serious audit career with real client exposure and structured professional development, this is the opportunity you have been looking for.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute statutory and internal audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring assignments are completed on time, within budget, and to professional standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and design audit procedures that are proportionate to the level of inherent and control risk identified in each client engagement
  • Review and evaluate clients financial statements, internal controls, accounting policies, and operational processes to identify errors, weaknesses, and areas of non-compliance
  • Prepare clear, well-structured audit working papers, findings reports, and management letters that accurately document evidence and conclusions drawn during each engagement
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to client management teams with confidence, professionalism, and a constructive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Monitor developments in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), auditing standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure all engagements remain fully compliant
  • Support senior auditors and managers in the planning, fieldwork, and finalisation phases of complex audit assignments involving multiple entities or group structures
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with client finance teams, fostering trust and credibility that supports long-term client retention and firm reputation
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent
  • At least 1 to 3 years of external or internal audit experience in a public accounting firm or professional services environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA), and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify anomalies, patterns, and control gaps in financial data
  • Professional, confident, and articulate communicator who can present findings and recommendations clearly to clients at all levels of seniority
