Job summary

The Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA) in Singapore seeks an experienced internal audit professional to strengthen governance and risk management. You will design risk-based audit plans, lead both in-house and outsourced audits, and report findings to Management and Audit Committees.

Candidates should have at least a tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance, a minimum of 3 years in audit, and professional credentials (CIA/CISA preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of relevant audit experience
• CIA/CISA certification preferred
• Proficiency in data analytics tools an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of IAU to develop risk-based audit plan and adjust to emerging risks
• Plan, conduct and complete audits to assess internal controls and governance
• Lead and manage audit projects, including outsourced auditors
• Prepare reports and present findings to Management and Audit Committees
• Manage the Secretariat function of the Audit Committee and other Boards
• Conduct ad-hoc investigations and reviews as requested
• Collaborate with divisions for process improvements and best practices
• Strive for continuous improvement of audit work programs and team
