Job summary

The Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA) is a new statutory board under Singapore's MOH established in 2025 to oversee public health policy-making and outbreak response. You will join the professional internal audit team to conduct audits that strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls.

You will manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, leading audit projects and presenting findings to Management and Audit Committees.

Qualifications

• Minimum tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of audit experience in public, non-profit or private sectors (internal audit preferred).
• CIA or CISA certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of IAU to develop risk-based audit plan and adjust plan in response to emerging risks.
• Plan, conduct and complete internal audits to assess controls and governance.
• Lead and manage audit projects, including outsourced auditors.
• Prepare reports and presentations to Management and Audit Committees.
• Manage the secretariat function of the Audit Committee and other Board Committees as appropriate.
• Perform ad-hoc investigations and reviews as requested by Management or Audit Committee.
• Participate in IAU initiatives to share best practices across Divisions.
• Strive for continuous improvement of audit work programs and processes.
