You will assist in completing audit engagements for government ministries and provide assurance on the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with policies and regulations.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, data analytics and collaboration with management at all levels.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Accountancy with at least 4 years of internal audit experience.
• CA/CIA professional qualifications preferred.
• Good knowledge of risk assessment, internal controls and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head (Assurance) to complete audit engagements in the public sector.
• Provide reasonable assurance to the Audit Committee over internal controls and compliance.
• Recommend improvements to achieve greater efficiency.
