Job summary

Unearthed Productions, a Singapore-based event production company, is seeking a hands-on Audio Visual Technician to prepare, set up, operate and troubleshoot AV systems for live events, conferences, activations and other productions. This on-site role may include evenings and weekends.

You will test and dismantle gear, operate mixers, microphones, PA systems, projectors and LED walls, liaise with producers and venue teams, and maintain equipment with safety in mind to ensure smooth, fault-free

Qualifications

• Hands-on AV work at live events (corporate, conferences, activations).
• Practical strength in audio, video or lighting with working knowledge across the others.
• Confident with setup, show operation, troubleshooting and teardown on-site.
• Good communication, teamwork, and on-site problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, test, set up and dismantle audio, video and lighting equipment at event venues.

• Check signal flow and client content before showtime; troubleshoot issues during rehearsals and live events.
• Work closely with producers, venue teams, vendors and crew to deliver safe, reliable event operations.
• Maintain equipment, cables and inventory, and report faults promptly.

We are looking for a hands-on Audio Visual Technician to prepare, set up, operate and troubleshoot AV systems for live events, conferences, activations and other productions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore; event schedules may include evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Prepare, test, set up and dismantle audio, video and lighting equipment at event venues.
• Operate or support mixers, microphones, PA systems, projectors, LED walls, video switchers, playback systems and lighting consoles according to the event plan.
• Check signal flow and client content before showtime; troubleshoot sound, video, lighting and connectivity issues during rehearsals and live events.
• Work closely with producers, venue teams, vendors and crew to deliver safe, reliable event operations.
• Maintain equipment, cables and inventory, and report faults promptly.

What we are looking for

• Demonstrable hands-on AV work at live events, such as corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, activations or performances.
• Practical strength in audio, video or lighting, with working knowledge across the other
• Confidence with setup, show operation, troubleshooting and teardown—not only permanent installation or office AV support.
• Good communication, teamwork, time management and calm problem-solving on-site.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when live-event schedules require it and to follow venue and equipment safety procedures.
• Relevant technical training is welcome; equivalent hands-on event experience is also considered.
