Candidates should have over 3 years of experience in live sound engineering, particularly in a Church context, alongside technical skills in managing audio setups and systems. Job description
Lead FOH and/or broadcast audio mixing during weekend services and special events.
Manage monitor mixes for worship teams and speakers using personal monitor systems.
Troubleshoot and improve broadcast mix for clarity, balance, and translation to online platforms.
Coordinate and execute audio setup for worship services, including microphones, monitors, IEMs, playback rigs, interpretation and comms systems.
Support and guide ministry teams to ensure consistency across locations.
Manage recordings, uploading and content archives.
Technical Oversight & Maintenance:
Maintain, repair, and upgrade audio systems across all locations (digital consoles, wireless mics, PA systems, etc.).
Maintain accurate documentation of signal flow, patching, input lists, and equipment inventory.
Provide training and technical support to volunteers end users.
Assist in designing and integrating new audio systems as the Church grows.

Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
3+ years of professional experience in live sound engineering (preferably in a Church setting).
Experience with Allen & Heath, Digico, Yamaha, L Acoustics, D& B Audio, Bosch, Riedel systems.
Proficiency in EQ, compression, effects processing, and gain structure.
Experience with wireless microphone and in-ear monitoring systems and workflow such as Shure and Sennheiser.
Strong understanding of signal flow, Dante/Madi/AV networking, and system troubleshooting.
Knowledge in acoustics and system tuning with REW or Smaart Live.
Knowledge in streaming and broadcast audio.
Knowledge in Qlab, Autocad and Sketchup will be an added advantage.
Ability to manage complex audio setups under pressure in a fast-paced, live environment.
High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive work ethic.
Able to carry equipment and loads of 10kg or more
