Wesley Methodist Church is seeking an AV Manager to lead the Audio Visual Department across worship services, events, and ministry activities. You will supervise staff and volunteers, coordinate with vendors, and ensure reliable AV systems and livestreaming capabilities.

The AV Manager / Assistant Manager leads Wesley Methodist Church's Audio Visual Department, ensuring the smooth delivery of audio, video, lighting, presentation, livestreaming, and technical support across worship services, ministry activities, and special events. The role combines hands on technical excellence with team leadership, overseeing AV staff and volunteers, managing vendors and projects, maintaining and upgrading AV systems, and ensuring the church's technology infrastructure effectively supports ministry needs. The AV Manager also oversees departmental planning, budgeting, procurement, and administrative processes to ensure reliable and future ready AV operations.

Experience in AV operations within a church, live production, events, or similar environment.
Experience serving in a large church environment with more than 2,000 members would be an advantage.
Audio: Digital Mixers (including Yamaha) and Dante Networking, Shure/Sennheiser wireless technology, in-ear monitoring systems, and recording and post-production
Video: Blackmagic hardware and software, PTZ camera operation and basic AV over IP or NDI video networks
Lighting: Use and programming of DMX-based systems
Presentation: PowerPoint (minimum) and ProPresenter 7, Qlab
AV Networking: be familiar with AV networking systems
Livestreaming: OBS or similar livestreaming platforms
Live events: Has experience in AV work in a live environment.
Technical ability: Diagnose and troubleshoot AV systems and equipment issues on the spot; comfortable with reading technical schematic diagrams, with basic knowledge of basic routing and configurations.
