Job summary

STMicroelectronics PTE LTD is seeking an ATE Equipment/Tool Administrator to install, configure, and upgrade ATE systems and software across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments. The role focuses on uptime, performance, and cybersecurity for ATE tools used in wafer sort and cleanroom operations.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with 1–3 years of relevant semiconductor experience, and familiarity with Teradyne, SPEA or Advantest is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Computer Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience in semiconductor wafer sort and cleanroom environment.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in administrating ATE equipment.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Windows/Unix/Linux operating system.
• Experience on Teradyne/SPEA/ADVANTEST would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• ATE equipment/tool Management: Install, configure, and upgrade new or existing ATE equipment operating systems and application software (Windows, Linux, Unix).
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of tools uptime and performance to meet organizational needs.
• Maintaining cybersecurity of ATE equipment (Backup/Restore/Sealing/Anti-virus/User Accounts).
• Work independently with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues.
• Liaise with vendors and equipment/product engineers for system upgrades or system-related issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical support and documentation.
