Job summary

Normet Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an meticulous Finance/Accounting professional responsible for end-to-end month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations and KPI reporting. The role covers AR, AP, intercompany billing and cashflow support to ensure accurate financials.

You will coordinate with group finance, support audits and GST reporting, with hands-on experience in MYOB and Onestream workflows. Singapore-based, on-site role with regular ad-hoc financial reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Journal entries, perform Bank reconciliations and update Forex records
• Compute salesman commissions
• Compute royalties and submit to Group Finance
• Intercompany Billing reconciliation (AR & AP)
• Provide 8 weeks Cashflow (Normentia)
• Load monthly Trial Balance onto OS template to Onestream
• Load AR report to Onestream
• Prepare gross margin by month/country, customer analysis, GCCT and management report (SG)
• Lead external audit and tax coordination (soft copy)
• Generate GST report (Quarterly)
• Generate invoices for recharge management fees and commissions (AR)
• Chase customer AR outstanding weekly
• Deposit cheques/cash, update payment receipts in MYOB
• Pay suppliers by issuing PO and matching invoices to DOs/POs
• Record invoices into MYOB (trade & non-trade)
• Prepare payments
• Stocktake at year end; ensure MYOB matches physical count
• Record Inventory (batching, decanting & transfer) in MYOB
• Prepare staff claims payments (Singapore)
• Prepare salary payments via OCBC accounts (Singapore)
• Assist Sales Coordinator for sales matters
• Generate ad-hoc reports as needed

Job description

1. Responsible for the full spectum of month-end closing process
   • a. Prepare the Journal entry, Bank reconciliation, Updated Forex
   • b. Salesman commmision calculation
   • c. Royalty calculation (submit to Group Finance)
   • d. Intercompany Billing (AR & AP) confirmation
   • e. Provide 8 weeks Cashflow (Normentia)
   • f. Load monthly Trial Balance onto OS template to Onestream
   • g. Load AR report to Onestream
   • h. Prepare gross margin by month/country, Customer Analysis, GCCT report, management report (SG only)
   • i. Lead the External Audit & Tax (soft copy)
   • j. Generate GST report (Quarterly)
2. AR
   • a. Generate invoice for recharge management fees, commission
   • b. Chase customer AR outstanding on weekly basis
   • c. Deposit cheques/cash into the bank, update payment receipt into MYOB
   • d. Prepare weekly sales report
3. AP
   • a. Issue PO to suppliers
   • b. Matching invoices with DOs and POs
   • c. Record the invoices into MYOB (trade & non trade)
   • d. Prepare payment
4. Inventory
   • a. Stocktake (year end) - ensure the physical count and the record in MYOB is the same
   • b. Record Inventory (Batching, Decanting & Transfer) into MYOB
5. HR
   • a. Preparing payment for Staff Claims (Singapore)
   • b. Preparing payment of employee salary via OCBC accounts (Singapore)
   • c. Assist Sales Coordinator for sales matter (when necessary)
6. Other Ad-hoc Projects
   • a. Generate reports as and when needed
