Job summary

SAS is seeking an Associate Technical Consultant to join our Asia Pacific Consulting team in Singapore. You will work with experienced consultants to implement SAS solutions addressing data management, analytics, risk, and AI.

You will contribute through hands-on implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation while building expertise in SAS technologies and industry solutions. You will collaborate with consultants, architects and project managers to deliver successful outcomes, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline.
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, software implementation or technical consulting projects.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Understanding of data management, data warehousing or data engineering principles.
• Knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a project-based consulting environment.
• Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation and deployment of SAS software and solutions.
• Configure, test and support data integration, ETL and data engineering processes.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, data mappings and transformation logic.
• Support system installation, configuration and environment validation activities.
• Assist with data migration, integration and deployment activities across customer environments.
• Create clear technical documentation, test plans and implementation deliverables.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support defect resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with consultants, architects, project managers and customer stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
• Support knowledge transfer and transition‑to‑support activities following project implementation.
• Continue developing expertise in SAS technologies, cloud architectures and industry solutions.
• Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.
