Job summary

ADECCO PERSONNEL PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an IT Helpdesk & End-User Support specialist to serve as the first point of contact for IT issues and tickets. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and manage tickets to ensure smooth operations.

Additional duties include IT asset & inventory management, procurement assistance, infrastructure support for desktops, printers, IP telephony, and basic VM provisioning under guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops and peripherals.
• Familiar with Windows and macOS environments.
• Basic Active Directory: user accounts, password resets, group membership.
• Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS and Wi-Fi.
• Fundamental Windows Server and Ubuntu Server knowledge.
• Basic VMware virtualization concepts.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & Responsibilities :

• Helpdesk & End-User Support: Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests. Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and general computer-related issues, and manage tickets.
• IT Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licences, warranties and maintenance schedules. Assist with procurement and disposal activities.
• Infrastructure Maintenance: Support the installation and maintenance of IT hardware and peripherals, including desktops, printers and IP telephony systems.
• VM Provisioning: Assist with the provisioning and basic configuration of virtual machines under guidance.

Requirements:

• IT hardware troubleshooting experience covering desktops, laptops and peripherals.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and macOS environments.
• Fundamental knowledge of Active Directory, including user accounts, password resets and group membership.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS and Wi-Fi.
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows Server and Ubuntu Server.
• Basic knowledge of VMware virtualization.
