PIMCO is hiring for an APAC Operations & Project Delivery role based in Singapore. The position focuses on process improvements across trading desks, settlements, and middle office, with exposure to regional market initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

You will document requirements, coordinate with internal teams and external counterparties, and track timelines and risks in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel and programming skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience in the investment management industry with exposure to Operations, Settlements, or Middle Office.
  • Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle (execution, funding, confirmation, settlement).
  • Working knowledge of Fixed Income, Equities, FX and Derivatives.
  • Strong Excel skills; VBA, SQL, Python or automation tools are beneficial.
  • Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business requirements, trading/settlement workflows and operational impacts.
  • Contribute to end-to-end delivery of APAC initiatives across market, product and regulatory changes.
  • Track timelines, identify risks, dependencies and escalate issues as needed.
  • Coordinate across regional and global stakeholders to align requirements and deliverables.
  • Engage brokers and service providers to gather market intelligence and validate solutions.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of middle/back-office processes across the trade lifecycle, including execution, funding, confirmation, and settlement.Exposure to APAC markets (e.g., China, India, Korea, Taiwan) is beneficial but not required. Project experience is not mandatory; however, candidates should be comfortable working in a project-driven environment and demonstrate the ability to understand business needs, assess operational impact, and coordinate delivery in collaboration with multiple teams.
