Job summary

UOB Kay Hian Pte Ltd is seeking a Trade Operations Associate in Singapore to process settlements for local and foreign equities and OTC products. You will verify tickets, reconcile confirmations, and resolve settlement issues with a high degree of accuracy and urgency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process settlement for local & foreign equities and OTC products.
• Verify and reconcile dealing tickets and incoming trade confirmations.
• Resolve unmatched trade positions and settlement failures.
• Liaise with institutional clients, banks, brokers, and liquidity providers on settlement issues.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of trade validation, settlement, reconciliation, control checks, investigation, and exception handling.
• Send trade confirmations to institutional clients once trades are done.
• Take ownership of the markets assigned with a sense of urgency.
• Proactively identify gaps and enhance operational workflow.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Sending of trade confirmations to institutional clients once trades are done

• Take ownership of the markets assigned and act with a sense of urgency

• Proactively seek for opportunities to identify gaps and enhance operational workflow

• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma Holder

• Preferably with 1-2 years of relevant experience in trade operations either in stockbroking firms, custodians or banks

• Proficient in MS Office and Excel

• Able to work independently & extended hours.

• Open to working on holidays and occasional weekends
