Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Operations Associate to process settlements for local and foreign equities and OTC products. You will verify trade tickets, reconcile confirmations, and collaborate with clients, banks, brokers, and liquidity providers to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely settlements, and process improvements across assigned markets, with occasional weekend support for system upgrades or migrations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience in trade operations within a stockbroking firm, custodian, or financial institution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process settlements for local and foreign equities, as well as over-the-counter (OTC) products.
• Verify and reconcile dealing tickets and incoming trade confirmations.
• Investigate and resolve unmatched trade positions and settlement failures.
• Liaise with institutional clients, banks, brokers, and liquidity providers to resolve trade settlement issues.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of trade validation, settlement, reconciliation, control checks, investigations, and exception handling.
• Take ownership of assigned markets and ensure settlements are completed within required timelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and enhance workflow efficiency.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• 1.5-hour lunch break

Operational Requirements

• Occasional weekend support may be required for system upgrades or migration activities.
• Rotational support for overseas markets (e.g. Hong Kong and Thailand) when Singapore public holidays fall on trading days.
