Qualifications

Associate / Senior Associate – Restructuring (Singapore, Asia)

We are recruiting an Associate / Senior Associate who will work across a broad range of Restructuring, Advisory and Insolvency engagements, gaining exposure to multiple specialisms within the firm. The role involves supporting high‑profile advisory and insolvency mandates across the region and collaborating with colleagues in several jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• All forms of corporate insolvency appointments
• Restructuring advisory for underperforming or financially distressed businesses and their stakeholders
• Accelerated M&A transactions, including acquisitions and disposals
• Turnaround support, including cost reduction and working capital optimisation
• Options analysis to support stakeholders in making informed strategic decisions
• Cash flow forecasting and ongoing cash management

As part of an international team, you will also gain exposure to high‑profile advisory and insolvency mandates across the region, working closely with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Strong academic track record, preferably in Accountancy, Business or Law
• Interest in studying for a professional qualification such as HKICPA or equivalent
• Previous experience in professional services, ideally at a Big 4 firm or boutique
• Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and effective written and verbal communication
• Proven research and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Teamwork orientation and adaptability to new challenges and ideas
• Detail‑oriented and committed to delivering high‑quality work and continuously improving results
• Fluent business‑level English and Cantonese or Mandarin (other languages welcome)
