Job summary

ams OSRAM's LSP unit seeks a Logistics Specialist to manage shipping, invoicing, and documentation, ensuring on-time delivery to clients. Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and maintain records in the WMS; support inventory counts and process improvements.

Role requires a Diploma in Logistics or related field and 1-2 years of experience, with SAP knowledge and HS code proficiency. On-site position in Singapore with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• 1-2 years of relevant shipping and invoicing experience.
• Hands-on experience in picking, packing, shipment preparation, and RMA handling.
• Knowledge of HS Code classification and COO documentation.
• Experience with quality issues related to finished goods in an MNC manufacturing setting.
• Experience with SAP or similar logistics software.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Ensure billing invoices and shipping documentation are accurate, complete, and timely; coordinate shipments to support on-time delivery.
• Manage export and local delivery shipments by liaising with freight forwarders and transport providers.
• Ensure efficient material flow and quality by communicating shipment details and supporting processing of shipping orders.
• Conduct and manage inventory; monitor stock levels, perform physical counts, update WMS, verify quantities.
• Provide customer support by responding to inquiries and resolving shipment-related issues.
• Maintain records of shipments, returns, and inventory adjustments; support periodic counts.
• Apply Lean and Kaizen methodologies to drive continuous improvement; demonstrate analytical, strategic, communication, time-management and customer-focused skills.

• Ensure billing invoices and shipping documentation are accurate, complete, and timely, while coordinating and arranging shipments promptly to support on-time delivery to clients.
• Manage export and local delivery shipments for assigned countries by liaising with freight forwarders and transport providers to ensure timely shipment coordination and delivery arrangements.
• Ensure efficient material flow and quality by collaborating with relevant teams, communicating shipment details, and supporting the accurate and timely processing of shipping orders.
• Conduct and manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular physical stock counts, updating the warehouse management system (WMS), and verifying quantities for incoming and outgoing shipments
• Provide customer support by responding to inquiries, resolving shipment-related issues, and assisting customers with questions regarding order pickups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, returns, and inventory adjustments while supporting monthly and semi-annual inventory counts
• Apply Lean and Kaizen methodologies to drive continuous improvement while demonstrating strong analytical, strategic, communication, time-management, and customer-focused skills.

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
• With 1 -2 years’ relevant experience in Shipping and invoicing experience
• Hands-on experience in picking, packing, shipment preparation, and RMA handling.
• Strong working knowledge of HS Code classification and Certificate of Origin (COO) documentation.
• Experience working with quality issues related to finished goods
• Past experience in MNC manufacturing logistic background.
• Proficiency in SAP or other logistics software
