Job summary

About the role

This is a Frontend Development role focused on developing and maintaining web application screens and components. You will implement responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile usage, convert UI/UX designs into functional frontend pages, and build reusable frontend components based on project standards. You will support frontend integration with backend APIs and assist in enhancing existing system modules and user workflows.

Frontend Development

• Develop and maintain web application screens and components.
• Implement responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile usage.
• Convert UI/UX designs into functional frontend pages.
• Build reusable frontend components based on project standards.
• Support frontend integration with backend APIs.

Application Support

• Assist in enhancing existing system modules and user workflows.
• Troubleshoot frontend issues, layout defects, and browser compatibility problems.
• Support bug fixing during testing, UAT, and post-deployment phases.
• Help improve usability, performance, and user experience.

API & System Integration

• Consume REST APIs provided by backend developers.
• Handle frontend data display, form validation, and error messages.
• Support authentication and session handling where required.
• Work with backend teams to clarify API behaviour and data requirements.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform basic unit testing and frontend functional testing.
• Support QA teams in resolving defects.
• Ensure developed screens meet functional and UI requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback from senior developers.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Update technical notes for frontend components where required.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and project discussions.
• Maintain task status in project tracking tools.
• Follow coding standards, naming conventions, and version control practices.

Technical Skills Required
