Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a frontend engineer to build and maintain scalable web applications using Angular and/or React. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product owners to translate wireframes into high-quality code.

The role emphasizes responsive interfaces, code quality, and participation in the full development lifecycle, including testing and deployment. Familiarity with CI/CD and modern frontend tooling is desired.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with at least one modern JS framework (Angular or React).
• Familiarity with state management libraries (RxJS/Redux) is beneficial.
• Version control with Git and RESTful API experience.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and design systems.
• Experience with testing (Jest, Jasmine, React Testing Library) is a plus.
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack) and package managers (npm/yarn).
• Understanding of CI/CD and agile methodologies.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure frontend applications using Angular and/or React frameworks.
• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring optimal performance and user experience across different devices and browsers.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designer backend developers, and product owners to translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Develop reusable UI components and libraries to promote consistency and accelerate development cycles.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement and adhere to secure coding best practices, addressing potential vulnerabilities like XSS and CSRF.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry best practices.
• Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to architectural standards.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript (including ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Expertise in at least one modern JavaScript framework, with strong preference for Angular and React.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., RxJS for Angular, Redux for React) is beneficial.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and the ability to work with design systems (e.g., DBS Digital Design Standard).
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g.,Jest, Karma, Jasmine for Angular; Jest, React Testing Library for React) is a plus.
• Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack, npm scripts) and package managers (npm, Yarn).
• Understanding of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
