Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with strong expertise in ReactJS and JavaScript in Singapore. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, high-quality applications aligned with business requirements.

You will build reusable components using React.js, Redux, and modern UI frameworks, collaborate with UI/UX designers, PMs, backend developers, and DevOps, and ensure performance, security, and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React.js, Redux, Hooks, Node.js.
• Ability to read and interpret MS Excel pricing formulas and convert into JavaScript.
• Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain React/Node.js web applications.

• Work with PostgreSQL and Oracle to support schema design and data integrity.
• Perform unit and integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with strong expertise in ReactJS and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality applications that are scalable, performant, and aligned with business requirements.

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and NodeJS.
• Build reusable front-end components and implement features using React.js, Redux, and modern UI frameworks.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases to support schema design, query optimization, and data integrity.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application stability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, backend developers, and DevOps teams.
• Apply security, coding, and performance best practices across front-end and back-end development activities.
• Use version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines to support efficient release and deployment processes.
• Monitor application performance, investigate issues, resolve defects, and provide technical support when required.
• Understand and interpret pricing Excel formulas, business rules, and calculation logic, and translate them accurately into maintainable JavaScript code.

Requirements

Front-End Development

• Strong proficiency in React.js, Redux, Hooks, Node.js.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and web performance optimization.
• Ability to read and interpret MS Excel pricing formulas and convert the calculation logic into accurate, maintainable JavaScript implementation.

DevOps & Cloud (Preferred but not mandatory)

• Hands-on experience with Docker, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus.

Other Skills

• Experience with Java and Spring will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with Git, JIRA, and project management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
