ELEMENT CONSTRUCTION TESTING (S) PTE. LTD. invites fresh mechanical engineering graduates to join its laboratory team in Singapore.

The role focuses on basic and routine tests, data collection, and reporting under supervision, with exposure to real testing concepts and safety practices. You will assist with stripping tests, moisture content, and rebar geometry measurements, support tensile and ad-hoc experiments with engineers, and develop strong computer-based documentation skills while

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety.
• Understanding of testing concepts.
• Ability to analyze and compile testing data.
• Strong computer skills.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine tests such as stripping test, moisture content, and rebar’s geometrical measurements.
• Work with Engineer and lead with advanced tests, including tensile test and ad-hoc experiments.
• Accurately record and report data from tests.
• Possess the ability to contribute to technical presentations and communications within the engineering discipline.

• Closely involved – as a contributing team member – with a variety of assignments with the laboratory
• Accountable for technical activities of a limited scope and may attain additional responsibilities for release of standard and/or routine data to clients
• Conduct Routine Tests such as stripping test, moisture content, rebar’s geometrical measurements
• Work with Engineer and lead with advanced tests, including tensile test and ad-hoc experiments.
• Accurately record and report data from tests.
• Possess the ability to effectively contribute to technical presentations and communications within the engineering discipline

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Working knowledge of laboratory safety
• In-depth understanding of testing concepts
• Ability to analyze and compile testing data from the tests performed
• Possess strong computer skills
