Job summary

Element Construction Testing (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a laboratory technician to perform routine and advanced testing under supervision in our Singapore lab. You will assist engineers, record test data accurately, and contribute to technical presentations.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required; strong data analysis and computer skills are essential. No prior experience is necessary, and benefits include OT pay eligibility and transport support.

Qualifications

• Closely involved – as a contributing team member – with a variety of assignments with the laboratory
• Accountable for technical activities of a limited scope and may attain additional responsibilities for release of standard and/or routine data to clients
• Conduct Routine Tests such as stripping test, moisture content, rebar’s geometrical measurements
• Work with Engineer and lead with advanced tests, including tensile test and ad-hoc experiments.
• Accurately record and report data from tests.
• Possess the ability to effectively contribute to technical presentations and communications within the engineering discipline

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Working knowledge of laboratory safety
• In-depth understanding of testing concepts
• Ability to analyze and compile testing data from the tests performed
• Possess strong computer skills
• No experience required
