Job summary

PERSOL OUTSOURCING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a maintenance technician to service Card Access Systems on-site in Singapore.

You will perform installation, upgrading, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability across project sites. The ideal candidate holds an NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics, is hands-on, willing to learn, and able to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or related disciplines.
• Training provided for candidates without experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical or electronic systems is an advantage.
• Hands-on, willing to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to travel to customer sites for maintenance and installation.
• Willing to perform overtime and standby duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive servicing, installation, upgrading, and technical support works for the Card Access System
• Carry out troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and rectification of system issues, including the replacement of defective hardware components and devices where necessary
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) works to ensure the system operates efficiently and reliably.
• Attend to breakdowns, service calls, and technical issues promptly to minimize system downtime and ensure continuous operation of the Card Access System
• Perform additional installation, upgrading, testing, and commissioning works for Additions & Alterations (A&A) projects as and when required
• Assist in system configuration, basic programming, and verification testing to ensure proper integration and functionality of newly installed or replaced equipment
• Maintain proper service documentation, maintenance records, and reports for all maintenance and installation activities carried out
• Observe and comply with all workplace safety requirements, operational procedures, and company guidelines while carrying out duties on-site

Job description

• Contract: 1 year renewable/ convertible

• Location – Ang Mo Kio + project sites

• Salary Range – $3000 to $3500

• Working Days & Time: Mon to Fri (8.30am to 6pm)
