Job summary

The role focuses on overseeing copper and fibre cable projects, implementing Power Platform solutions to automate reporting and enable real-time dashboards, and ensuring safety and quality on-site.

Ideal candidates have an engineering diploma, strong teamwork, and the ability to work during non-office hours on standby.

Qualifications

• Nitec/Diploma in Engineering / Electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform for workflow automation and data analysis.
• Ability to leverage Microsoft Power Platform and AI to develop solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work as a team.
• Able to work during non-office hours on an occasional basis and be on 24 x 7 hours standby alert for ad-hoc faults.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all copper and fibre cable diversion works, including road diversions and projects involving government agencies. Ensure timely completion and handover of cable projects.
• Design and implement Microsoft Power Platform solutions to team members as per required.
• Leverage Power Platform tools to automate routine reporting, monitor project progress, and streamline approval processes with real-time dashboards.
• Enforce adherence to safety standards and ensure proper use of safety equipment by contractors and staff.
• Apply for manhole access, issue material vouchers, compile progress reports, verify contractor claims, and liaise with internal teams and building management.
• Supervise copper and fibre jointing, termination, wiring, and testing.
• Attend to cable faults and troubleshoot using appropriate equipment.

How You will Make An Impact:
