Job summary

Aon Singapore is seeking an experienced insurance broker to drive negotiation and placement of insurance and reinsurance contracts for the Specialty team, producing quotations and lead terms. You will apply market expertise to design and place opportunities, renewals and mid-term adjustments, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and in-country teams to deliver best-in-class solutions. 6–8 years in insurance/reinsurance preferred; strong English communication; Word and Excel proficiency.

What The Day Will Look Like

• Drive the negotiation and placement of insurance/reinsurance contracts, producing desktop & market quotations and lead terms, for the Specialty;
• Apply market expertise to design, deliver, innovate and place new/expanded business opportunities, renewals and mid-term adjustments and claims to improve market competitiveness, drive growth and optimal outcomes clients
• Partner with Aon resources (Sales & Marketing, Specialty Team, GBC network and in-Country teams) to deliver the widest practical range of insurance solutions and services to client.
• Complete contributions to tender responses for the Specialty to ensure timely submission and quality of reports
• Ensure implementation of broking excellence initiatives including: Client Promise; Sales / Cross Selling; Wording/Slip standardization; Standard Contracts; Data Quality; Broking operations process flow; Carrier / market engagements.
• Interface with the market and to secure optimum outcome for client risk coverage
• Help with Aon Inpoint engagements
• Contribute to key thought leadership content for our clients and markets, and demonstrate understanding and insight into the industry, clients, risks and solutions.
• Assist the team leader to implement growth strategy for the team
• Contribute to up to date marketing materials on carrier appetite and solutions available to Specialty clients;
• Contribute to regular "State of the Market" reports for the Specialty updating on market trends and losses relevant to the Specialty.
• Ensure knowledge and best practice approaches are captured, documented and shared to ensure resiliency in the broking function for the Specialty
• Responsibility to ensure that all broking / placement activity is in compliance with MAS regulations and Aon Company Policy and Guidelines.

• Preferably 6 to 8 years of Insurance and/or Reinsurance market experience
