Black & White Engineering (Singapore) is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Mechanical Engineering to lead multi-disciplinary ME teams on high-value projects, primarily in data centres and mission-critical facilities across Singapore and the APAC region. You will drive client engagement, project delivery, and business development, while upholding design excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc)
Chartered Engineer status preferred (CEng, PE Singapore)
10–15 years’ experience in mechanical (MEP) design consultancy
Proven experience delivering complex MEP projects, ideally Data Centres / Mission Critical Facilities
Strong knowledge of relevant design standards and Singapore codes (BCA, SS standards)

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers with day-to-day people management
Oversee end-to-end project delivery ensuring on-time, within-scope and within-budget outcomes
Own project financial performance including cost control and profitability
Support growth through client development and market expansion in Singapore/APAC
Contribute to strategic planning, operational excellence, and regional alignment
