Skills and Competencies
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Financial Regulatory, Central Banking and/or consulting services
  • Familiarity of regional and global FS regulatory landscape and market trends including financial stability, climate risk, third party risk and compliance, AML responsible AI and governance is needed
  • Experience in policy development, financial stability, supervision, regulatory oversight as part of a regulatory body is preferred
  • Excellent presentation skills, able to engage and communicate effectively as part of C-suit and Board discussions. Public speaking experience is preferred including the ability effectively communicate complex, technical issues to non-expert audiences
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as an Industry Practice Lead (IPL) based in our Singapore office. The ideal candidate will possess considerable experience and deep technical expertise and serve as technical liaison to our clients and prospects. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing credibility and confidence in Moody's products with prospective clients through sales activities, thought leadership, and industry engagement. You will identify our clients' needs and lead solution design to address these needs. You will also work with our internal partners to define the Moody's value proposition, facilitate go to market activities such as internal training, and support product development.

Driving sales and customer engagement
  • Act as trusted advisor with senior stakeholders and client C-Suit to maintain existing relationships and foster new ones
  • Bring subject matter expertise and support clients' interpretation and application of Moody's Solutions
  • Manage client proposals and use industry best practice to elevate the impact of proposals and proof of concepts
  • Design, develop and execute market outreach strategies for key themes
  • Effectively collaborate within the sales groups including the Relationship Managers, Solution Specialists and the relevant product teams
Market feedback and internal engagement
  • Routinely translate emerging market themes and regulatory requirements into product requirements, building a business case to future proof our solutions
  • Play a key role as part of Insurance solutions go to market and sales strategy execution
  • Drive preparation of market insight and competitiveness content to create awareness of Moody's expertise internally
  • Serve as an informal coach and expert to sales professionals, customer success teams, and market strategists
  • Conduct training sessions on customer use cases, workflows, and personas
About the team

The Industry Practice Group is comprised of practitioners, former regulators and subject matter experts, specializing in domains such as underwriting, CAT models, climate risk, financial crime compliance and generative AI. Industry Practice Leads are responsible for advising existing and prospective customers across a broad range of workflows. Industry Practice Leads also collaborate with internal teams and interface with internal stakeholders such as product, research, partnerships, advisory, and customer success teams to align Moody's solutions to the industry challenges.
