Job summary

Moody's Corporation is seeking a professional to lead lending solution implementations for commercial and corporate banking clients across the Asia Pacific region. You will collaborate with project managers to plan timelines, conduct workshops, and tailor solutions including credit rating models and financial templates.

You will configure interfaces, support data migrations and integrations, and assist with testing, training, and pre-sales activities.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in software implementation, consulting, systems integration, or fintech projects.
• Experience in using programming languages such as C#/Python/R/AngularJS/Typescript.
• Good understanding of credit analytics and banking/insurance financial instruments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and key financial ratios.
• Experience with credit decisioning for corporate/SME lending is a plus.

Skills And Competencies

• 3 to 4 years of experience in software implementation, consulting, systems integration, or financial technology projects within banking, software, consulting, or professional services environments
• Experienced software development background: experience in using an advanced programming language, e.g. C#/Python/R/AngularJS/Typescript
• Good understanding of credit analytics (e.g. PD, LGD, credit rating); financial instruments for banking and insurance (e.g. loan, letter of credit, FX)
• Good understanding of accounting principles (e.g. accounts in balance sheet, income statement and cashflow statement) and key ratios for financial analysis
• Exposure to credit decisioning process for corporate and SME lending is a plus
• Demonstrated experience conducting client workshops, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and implementation activities
• Proven pre-sales capabilities including solution demonstrations, proposal development, client presentations, proof-of-concept discussions, and responding to requests for proposals and information
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, scripting technologies, system integrations, data migration activities, and troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Finance, Statistics, or related quantitative degrees with relevant information technology coursework may also be considered

Responsibilities

Lead lending solution implementations and pre-sales engagements for commercial and corporate banking clients across the Asia Pacific region.

• Partner with project managers to plan implementation activities, timelines, and deliverables for client engagements
• Conduct requirements gathering workshops, perform solution design and gap analysis, and advise clients on best practices for leveraging lending solutions
• Configure and customize application components including user interfaces, business rules, financial templates, credit rating models, workflows, and integration frameworks
• Support data migration, third‑party system integrations, defect resolution, and collaboration with internal product and development teams
• Coordinate and support system integration testing and user acceptance testing activities while ensuring solution quality and client readiness
• Deliver client training and knowledge transfer sessions to drive adoption of implemented solutions and related toolkits
• Support end-to-end pre-sales activities including discovery sessions, solution positioning, demonstrations, proof-of-concept discussions, and proposal responses
• Utilize approved AI technologies to enhance research, solution development, presentations, productivity, and lending‑related innovation while maintaining compliance with company policies and confidentiality requirements
