Job summary

A leading aerospace solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced Associate / Deputy / Project Manager. You will oversee the project and system maintenance lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or IT, at least 4 years of project management experience, and strong analytical skills. A willingness to learn new technologies and a Class 3 driving license are also required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project management for Government projects.
  • Knowledge of Radar or Radio Frequency (RF) related products is a plus.
  • Excellent judgment, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Glamco Aviation Pte Ltd (Glamco) is a leading solutions provider for the Aerospace, Commercial, Air & Maritime Traffic Management, and Defence & Security industries. We offer program/project management, system engineering, and maintenance support to customers worldwide.

We are searching for an Associate / Deputy / Project Manager to join our diverse team in Glamco. The role will support both internal and customer projects, overseeing the project and system maintenance lifecycle from pre‑sales through to maintenance, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the project and system maintenance lifecycle from proposal development to project kickoff, design, development, testing, customer acceptance testing, and system maintenance program.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Team to determine project scope of work.
  • Lead, plan, execute and commission projects according to scope, schedule, and budget, managing resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third‑party contractors or consultants.
  • Track project progress, budget, cost, resources, schedule, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to scope and requirements.
  • Develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in the operational plan.
  • Conduct project status review meetings with project team members and clients.
  • Coach and advise team members to meet schedules, resolve technical/operational issues, and achieve deliverables.
  • Perform additional functions such as system engineering, software testing, procurement, creation of product manuals, and project documentation.
  • Load orders for hardware/software with distributors and partners, and develop project kickoff slides (SOW, timeline, org chart, risks, stakeholders).
  • Initiate team meetings and integrate stakeholders in workshops and discussions to advance the project.
  • Facilitate project closure, lessons learned, and ensure project and maintenance SLA and customer satisfaction levels are met.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, processes, and guidelines.
  • Research new technologies and solutions to support programs.
  • Collaborate with qualified technical staff for after‑sales support and maintenance programs, overseeing incident management.
  • Other technical or operational duties as required.
Requirements
  • Preferably a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Communications, or IT equivalent, with experience in the systems integrator industry.
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in project management roles handling OT and/or IT systems for Government projects.
  • Knowledge or experience with Radar or Radio Frequency (RF) related products is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience in networking, firewall, or IT systems is a plus.
  • CAPM certification or higher preferred.
  • Strong hardware, software, and technical aptitude.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Initiative, self‑discipline, excellent judgment, and the ability to work independently while being a team player.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, work under pressure, and travel overseas as required.
  • Availability to work weekends and overtime.
  • Class 3 Manual driving licence.
  • Final appointment depends on experience.
