Job summary

Sloaneshorey is seeking a junior Associate to join its Singapore team in Corporate Intelligence & Investigations. The role involves supporting assignments across Singapore and Southeast Asia, working with experienced investigators on sensitive matters.

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, with strong research and reporting skills, and an interest in business, investigations, and international affairs. Singapore Private Investigator licence eligibility is required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in corporate intelligence, investigations, journalism, law enforcement, research or a related field.
• Strong research, analytical and investigative skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to produce clear, well-structured reports.
• Mandarin Chinese, Bahasa Melayu or Bahasa Indonesia language capabilities would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct corporate intelligence and investigations research, including integrity due diligence, background investigations, asset tracing, and corporate enquiries.
• Gather and analyse information from public records, corporate databases, media sources and other relevant channels.
• Conduct discreet enquiries and interviews to obtain information not readily available through conventional research.
• Support investigations involving corporate misconduct, fraud, commercial disputes and reputational concerns.
• Analyse findings and prepare clear, concise investigative reports for clients.
• Develop and maintain professional networks and information sources across Singapore and the wider region.
• Support senior colleagues in managing investigative assignments and client requirements.
