Job description

Our client, a leading global intelligence and cyber security consultancy, is seeking an exceptional investigations professional to join their dynamic Disputes & Investigations team in Singapore as a Junior Case Manager. This is not a standard due diligence report-writing position; it is a highly strategic role where you will act as the right-hand to the regional practice leader, managing an exciting pipeline of complex casework. 90% of the work involves cross-border disputes, white-collar fraud, internal corporate investigations, and strategic litigation support. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, technical investigator to step into a role focused on direct client and case management, solving some of the most complex contentious situations facing global clients today.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Case Manager, you will be expected to propose creative solutions to client problems and deliver high-quality findings based on open-source research, human intelligence, and robust analysis. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Leading research, analysis, and intelligence gathering on cross-border disputes, internal investigations, and asset recovery projects.
  • Acting in a highly client-facing capacity. There is a firm expectation that you will regularly attend business development and client management meetings, write proposals for new business, and actively promote the firm in the region.
  • Developing relationships with subcontractors and human sources, tasking them effectively, and travelling to execute casework when needed.
  • Guiding and training junior analysts on the latest investigative methodologies and editing written work products to ensure they are incisive and robust.
  • Getting your hands dirty with deep problem-solving, including dissecting complex corporate structures and potentially reviewing financial statements.
Candidate Profile

Our client is looking for a resourceful, entrepreneurial self-starter who does not require hand-holding. While ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of experience in the Disputes & Investigations space, the firm is highly open to non-traditional backgrounds. We strongly encourage applications from professionals with backgrounds in investigative journalism, law/regulatory enforcement, forensic accounting, or audit.

Key Requirements
  • An investigative mindset with demonstrated experience in complex disputes, litigation support, or international asset tracing. (Note: If coming from the corporate intelligence industry, highly proficient asset tracing skills are a strict requirement).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, capable of delivering detailed findings to sophisticated clients, legal teams, and senior commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to think laterally under pressure.
  • While proficiency in an Asian language is advantageous, it is secondary to strong investigative and problem-solving acumen.
  • Must have the existing right to work in Singapore by the start of employment.
Comprehensive Benefits Package

Our client offers a highly competitive and thoughtful rewards package designed to support you both inside and outside of work, including:

  • 20 days holiday per year (+ bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year of service (up to 25 days).
  • A hybrid model requiring a minimum of two days a week in the office, with flexible working hours between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.
  • Life insurance and Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions in accordance with legislative requirements.
