Job summary

Abacus Asia Wealth Management Pte Ltd seeks an analyst to support Representatives and Portfolio Managers in client relationship work and account maintenance. The role includes updating portfolios, monitoring exposures, and preparing performance reports across assets.

You will assist in research across Asia and Global markets to develop comprehensive investment cases, contributing to client satisfaction and portfolio execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/ Professional Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
• Strong analytical skills, team player, and independence in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Banking/Financial Services experience (family office, asset manager) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Private Bank’s products and services is preferred.
• English and Mandarin are required to handle Mandarin-speaking queries regarding asset management matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist Representatives/Portfolio Managers in all phases of client relationship building, account maintenance, and providing financial solutions to clients to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.

• Provide updates of the portfolio accounts to Representatives/Portfolio Managers – monitor day-to-day exposures, including cash, securities, FX, structured products positions, etc.

• Prepare periodical reports on portfolio valuation and performance return of the co-mingled portfolios, managed accounts, and their respective underlying assets.

• Assist in research across Asia and Global markets to produce, defend, and maintain a comprehensive investment case.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/ Professional Degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills, excellent and self-motivated team player, and great independence in working in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Banking/Financial Services (e.g., family office, asset manager) will be an added advantage.

• Familiarity with Private Bank’s products and services is preferred.

• Required language(s): English, Mandarin (to handle queries and feedback from Mandarin-speaking counterparts regarding asset management matters).
