Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance manager and technicians in planning and executing activities with emphasis on quality, safety and compliance.

The role focuses on developing SOPs, PM plans and troubleshooting while coordinating with stakeholders for shutdowns, tests and changes. Strong independent work and communication skills are required to drive corrective actions and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Science.
• Minimal 1–2 years of working experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to maintenance manager and maintenance technician to complete planned work activities timely, efficiently and satisfactorily.
• Participate and lead in Quality/Safety-related investigations and ensure deviations are fully investigated with actions implemented within the timeline.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids and preventive maintenance (PM) plans ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Provide technical oversight and support maintenance technicians with troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment failures and determining root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and support equipment shutdowns, startups, swing overs, servicing and inspections with stakeholders; support IQ/OQ and site change control or minor projects.
• Supervise and oversee third-party contractors, vendors and service providers.
• Participate in improvement initiatives to enhance equipment or system efficiency and reduce energy usage and costs.
• Participate in SHE, Business Compliance, cGMP and other compliance-related matters where applicable.

Job description

Critical responsibilities but not limited to:

• Provides support to maintenance manager and maintenance technician to complete planned work activities timely, efficiently and satisfactorily.
• Participate and lead in Quality/Safety related investigation. Ensure the deviations are fully investigated with any actions effectively implemented within agreed time frame.
• Develops standard operating procedures (SOP's), Job aids and preventative maintenance (PM's) plans. Ensure the developed instructions are compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines and standards.
• Provides technical oversight and support maintenance technicians with troubleshooting and diagnostic of equipment failure and determining the root cause and perform immediate corrective actions.
• Coordinates and support equipment shutdown, startup, swing over, and equipment servicing and inspection with stakeholders. Support installation, modification, testing, servicing, commissioning, qualification activities (IQ, OQ), as well as site change control procedures or minor projects.
• Supervise and oversee third party contractors, vendors and service providers.
• Participates in the improvement initiatives to enhance equipment or system efficiency, reduce energy usage and other cost saving/avoidance projects.
• Participate in SHE, Business Compliance, cGMP and all other compliance-related matters, where applicable

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

Qualification

Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering or Science discipline or its equivalent can be considered if the candidate demonstrates strong willing to work and learn in engineering and project management.

Experience:

• Minimal 1-2 years working experience.
• Working experience in project management, maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, oil & gas, or semi-con industry will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
