Job summary

EXCELITAS TECHNOLOGIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and improve equipment uptime in an automated factory setting.

You will develop strategic maintenance plans, lead TPM initiatives, and ensure SOPs are followed by the team, enabling reliable production and safe operations. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, at least 8 years in equipment and maintenance engineering, and hands-on TPM experience.

Job Description:

• Providetechnical expertise to maintain and improve equipment uptime and reliability.
• Developstrategic maintenance plans and lead initiatives to achieve factory equipmentreliability targets.
• Ensuremaintenance systems and standard operating procedures are consistently followedby all team members.
• Apply TPMtools and methodologies to drive progress through the Planned MaintenancePillar.
• Oversee thetimely and cost-effective execution of major capital investment projects inline with the annual operating plan (AOP) and capital expenditure budget.
• Own andmanage maintenance KPIs, including equipment availability, reliability, anddowntime performance.
• Develop andenhance the technical competencies of the maintenance team through training andcoaching.
• Maintain anorganized inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and consumables to supportuninterrupted maintenance operations.
• Monitor andcontrol repair and maintenance costs to ensure alignment with budgetary objectives.
• Ensure allmaintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry bestpractices to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
• Identify anddrive improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, cost control,and maintenance best practices (e.g., Lean, TPM, RCA).
• Conducttraining for maintenance personnel on new equipment, safety procedures, andbest practices.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma orDegree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8years of relevant experience in equipment and maintenance engineering,preferably in an automated manufacturing environment.
• Strongbackground in equipment and maintenance engineering, with solid knowledge ofautomation systems.
• Hands-onexperience in implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Knowledge ofLean or Six Sigma methodologies is an added advantage.
• Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and adata-driven mindset.
• Provenleadership and coaching abilities to guide, mentor, and develop a team ofengineers and technicians.
• Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complextechnical concepts clearly across all levels of the organization.
