Job summary

GlobalFoundries is hiring an Assoc Eng for Integration & Yield in Woodlands, Singapore. The role analyzes inline defect data, troubleshoots tools, and reviews YDD inspected lots. You’ll support yield and process integration teams and manage WIP while adapting to rotating 12-hour shifts.

Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field is required, with 1–3 years Fab experience; fresh graduates are welcome. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related technical field.
• 1–3 years’ relevant Fab experience; fresh diploma holders will be considered.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts; night shift may be advantageous.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze in-line defect data from inspection and SEM review tools.
• Troubleshoot and shut down affected process tools based on data analysis.
• Review and disposition lots flagged by YDD inspections.
• Ensure OOC lots are held for troubleshooting.
• Support process modules, yield engineering, and TD groups for inline defect support.
• Check daily YDD scan maps and OOC points from SPC charts.
• Manage overall WIP control and create tool recipes for defect inspection (Rudolph/KLA).
