Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore is seeking a Senior Engineer for Manufacturing Operations to provide engineering support for semiconductor process operations and drive cycle time, throughput, and quality improvements on the fab floor.

The role collaborates with manufacturing, equipment teams and industrial engineering to ensure accurate capacity modeling, safe operations and adherence to processes, while delivering on daily targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Good understanding of manufacturing principles, equipment interaction, and process discipline within a semiconductor fab environment.
• Familiar with standard engineering and problem‑solving methodologies (e.g., data analysis, root cause analysis, SPC) to identify, analyze, and resolve routine manufacturing issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversite and guidance of operational activities to meet daily targets and goals (cycle time, throughput, quality).
• Support automated assembly tools to support manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and industrial engineering for capacity modeling and UPH assumptions.
• Drive manufacturing efficiencies, quality and productivity improvements.
• Work safely and support EH&S requirements and programs.
