Job summary

ARGYLL SCOTT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced investment operations professional in Singapore for a 1-year contract.

The role covers end-to-end ILP trade processing, settlement, NAV valuation, and reconciliations, with a focus on compliance and controls within a global financial services environment. You will work closely with investment and product teams, external fund managers, auditors, and senior leaders to support launches, switches, and onboarding while maintaining MAS regulatory

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in investment operations or investment accounting.
• University degree required; CFA or similar qualification is a bonus.
• Good knowledge of MAS Notice 307 and the Securities and Futures Act.

Responsibilities

• Handle ILP trades from start to finish: orders, settlement, NAV valuation and reconciliation.
• Ensure investments follow mandate, regulations and internal controls.
• Improve team processes to reduce errors and speed up workflows.
• Set up new portfolio accounts and manage fund manager changes.
• Support fund launches, closures and switches, plus UAT testing and senior leadership requests.
• Collaborate with investment, product teams and external fund managers; be the auditors' main contact on investment matters.

My client is a leading global financial services group, and they need an investment operations professional for their insurance business in Singapore.

What you'll do

• Handle investment-linked policy (ILP) trades from start to finish: placing orders, settlement, NAV valuation and reconciliation
• Make sure investments follow the mandate, local regulations and internal controls
• Find ways to make team processes faster and reduce errors
• Set up new portfolio accounts, and manage changes to fund managers and onboarding of new ones
• Support fund launches, closures and switches, plus UAT testing and requests from senior leaders
• Work closely with the investment team, the product team, external fund managers and partner companies in the group
• Be the main contact for auditors on investment matters and close their queries on time

What you’ll need

• 5-10 years in investment operations or investment accounting. Insurance experience is a strong plus
• A university degree. CFA or another professional qualification is a bonus
• Good knowledge of local rules, especially MAS Notice 307 and the Securities and Futures Act
• A solid understanding of equities, fixed income, alternatives and derivatives
• Strong Excel skills
• Clear spoken and written communication
• You must have the right to work in Singapore to apply.
