Morgan McKinley Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an AVP, Investment Operations (ILP) to execute the full ILP transaction cycle, including trade orders, settlements, NAV valuations and reconciliations. The role requires strong Excel skills, knowledge of MAS Notice 307 and the Securities and Futures Act, and the ability to engage with CIO, investment teams, fund managers and auditors.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline; CFA or equivalent advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in investment operations and investment accounting.
• Strong knowledge of MAS Notice 307 and the Securities and Futures Act.
• Good understanding of investment instruments, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and derivatives, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for a high caliber an AVP, Investment Operations (ILP). In this role, you willexecute the full cycle of Investment-Link Policy (ILP) transactions, including but not limited to trade order placements, settlements, Net Asset Value (NAV) valuations and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end execution of Investment-Linked Policy (ILP) transactions, including trade order placements, settlements, NAV valuations and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with investment mandates, regulatory requirements and HSBC internal control standards, while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.
• Review and enhance investment operations workflows, processes and controls to drive operational efficiency, accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Manage portfolio account openings, fund manager onboarding and transitions, ILP fund launches and closures, fund switches, BAU initiatives and UAT activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the CIO, Investment team, product and fund teams, external fund managers, affiliated HSBC entities and auditors, ensuring effective coordination and timely resolution of matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; professional qualifications such as CFA or equivalent will be an advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in investment operations and investment accounting, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements, particularly MAS Notice 307 and the Securities and Futures Act.
• Good understanding of various investment instruments, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments and derivatives, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
