WhiteCrow Research Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an AVP – Production Support for a global investment institution.

You will lead complex incident resolution, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive stability across production environments. Strong scripting (Bash/SQL/REST APIs/Python) and stakeholder communication are essential. You will serve as a primary liaison during critical incidents, mentor the global support team, and collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps to improve service

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 2 years in application support, system administration, or a closely related technical field.
• Demonstrated ability to perform production troubleshooting at the code/scripting level.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands‑on proficiency with Bash, SQL, REST APIs, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Technical Excellence: Leading complex incident resolution and RCA by troubleshooting directly within application code.
• System Stability: Monitoring production environments, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing automated reliability improvements.
• Technical Execution: Scripting automation and analyzing system logs/queries using Bash, SQL, REST APIs, or Python.
• Stakeholder Management: Acting as primary contact for technical and business stakeholders during critical incidents with clear updates.
• Leadership & Mindset: Promoting proactive service improvement, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the global support team.
• Collaborative Expansion: Working with engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps to bridge development and operations.

• Technical Excellence: Leading complex incident resolution and root cause analysis (RCA) by performing deep-dive troubleshooting directly within application code.
• System Stability: Proactively monitoring production environments, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing automated solutions to enhance system reliability.
• Technical Execution: Leveraging hands‑on expertise in one or more of the following: Bash, SQL, REST APIs, or Python to script automation and analyse system logs/queries.
• Stakeholder Management: Serving as a primary point of contact for technical and business stakeholders during critical incidents, providing clear, concise, and timely updates.
• Leadership & Mindset: Championing a proactive culture of service improvement, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the global support team.
• Collaborative Expansion: Working closely with the engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to bridge the gap between development and operations.

What you already have...

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT, with at least 2 years specifically in application support, system administration, or a highly related technical field.
• Demonstrated ability to perform production troubleshooting at the code/scripting level.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong hands‑on proficiency with Bash, SQL, REST APIs, or Python.
