Job summary

A listed pharmaceutical company based in Singapore is looking for an HR and Administration Officer to support recruitment, manage office operations, and assist in financial tasks. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree and have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Office and being bilingual in English and Chinese is essential. About our client

Our client is a listed pharmaceutical company from China.

Working Location: Singapore

Reports to: General Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Human Resources (HR)

  • Support recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations.
  • Assist in performance management processes, training coordination, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Handle staff queries and provide HR administrative support.

2. Administration

  • Manage office administration including facilities, supplies, and vendor coordination.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting documents for the General Manager.
  • Support company events, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Implement and maintain administrative systems and processes for efficiency.

3. Finance

  • Assist in budget preparation, expense monitoring, and financial reporting.
  • Handle invoices, payments, and petty cash management.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.

4. Other adhoc projects and assignments as assigned by GM

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Finance, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in HR, administration, or finance roles.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of HR/finance systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese is crucial in order to communicate with China HQ team
