Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to manage measurement, tendering, and cost control for construction projects at Changi Business Park. The role requires extensive experience in quantity surveying and familiarity with BIM and procurement processes.

You will review Bills of Quantities, cost plans, and tender documentation, while driving budgets, lifecycle costing, and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 7–8 years of quantity surveying experience in construction.
• Proficiency with BIM and QS software.

Industry: A1 Main Contractor | Building Construction

Mon to Fri, from 8.30am to 5.15pm

Salary is $7,000 - $8,000+ Variable Bonus [ No AWS ]

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7–8 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Measurements and Tender Documentation
  • Review and validate quantity take-offs using Building Information Modelling (BIM) and quantity surveying software.
  • Review Bills of Quantities (BQ), Schedule of Rates (SOR), preliminaries, and trade preambles.
  • Review technical specifications and tender / contract documentation prepared by consultants.
• Drive Cost Planning and Control
  • Prepare and review project cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans.
  • Monitor project budgets and forecast project costs and cash flow.
  • Analyse project cost performance and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • Review lifecycle costing and value engineering proposals.
• Define Tender and Procurement Strategies
  • Support procurement planning and subcontractor sourcing strategies.
  • Review tender invitations and procurement documentation.
  • Evaluate tender submissions and prepare tender comparison reports.

Manage Post-Contract Administration

• Review and certify interim payment claims and payment recommendations.
  • Assess variation orders, extension of time (EOT), and contractual claims.
  • Review and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
