Job summary

TCA Design & Build in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support landed residential projects, including A&A, reconstruction and new builds. You’ll assist the Project Manager with daily site coordination, monitor progress and ensure workmanship aligns with drawings and specifications.

This is a hands-on, on-site role with travel between projects. The ideal candidate holds a construction-related diploma or degree and demonstrates good communication, planning and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction, preferably landed residential projects in Singapore.
• Able to read architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
• Practical understanding of construction methods, sequencing and quality control.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Organised, responsible and proactive in resolving problems.
• Comfortable working primarily on site and travelling between projects.
• Diploma or degree in construction, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.
• Singapore construction experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with daily site coordination and execution.
• Coordinate workers, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Monitor construction progress, workmanship and manpower.
• Check site works against drawings, specifications and approved details.
• Identify site problems early and follow through on practical solutions.
• Arrange materials, quotations, deliveries and required site resources.
• Prepare progress updates, site records and work schedules.
• Attend meetings and follow up on decisions and outstanding matters.
• Support projects from structural works through architectural finishes and handover.
