The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, 3 years of PM experience in industrial construction, and proficiency in MS Office and MS Project. Basic salary is up to SGD 5,500 plus bonus.

About the role

A Project Manager collaborates with the Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineers and Supervisors in planning, budgeting, allocating resources, and providing timely completion of the project. They ensure that the project is completed within the set budget and is within the scope to the expected high quality and results.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for the overall implementation and completion of projects within projected time, cost and quality


• Lead and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to determine the specifications of the project, planning and execution of day-to-day operations on site


• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements


• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities, and ensure that the sites comply with all regulations, e.g.: MOM, NEA, HDB, etc.


• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitation


• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met


• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies


• Supervise the work of the project team and provide the necessary guidance, or resolve issues and conflicts swiftly


• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports for the management in a timely manner


• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

Requirement
