Job summary

TENARIS GLOBAL SERVICES FAR EAST PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering and capital projects, ensuring safety, quality, cost and schedule compliance across facilities. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage deliverables.

Responsibilities include planning, monitoring, budgeting, risk mitigation, and reporting to management, while ensuring HSE compliance and a strong safety culture across all project activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 5–10 years of engineering project management experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, contractor management and technical coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of engineering and capital projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation actions to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and report incidents and observations.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Engineering Project Manager to lead the execution of engineering and capital projects while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements. The successful candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project deliverables, and support the development and improvement of industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of assigned engineering and capital projects from initiation through completion.
  • Carry out and coordinate engineering studies for new facilities and major modifications to existing facilities.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Track project progress and ensure compliance with established timelines, budget constraints, and technical requirements.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation actions to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project updates, reports, and performance indicators to management.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures and regulations.
  • Report incidents, unsafe conditions, and observations, and actively participate in investigations and corrective action implementation.
  • Conduct inspections and support the development and execution of preventive and corrective actions.
  • Maintain and regularly update risk assessments and environmental aspect evaluations.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure HSE considerations are integrated into all project activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in engineering project management within a manufacturing, industrial, energy, or related environment.
  • Proven experience managing engineering projects involving budgeting, scheduling, contractor management, and technical coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, engineering standards, and industrial operations.
  • Familiarity with HSE regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and environmental management practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: SGD 12,000 – SGD 23,000 per month
